Just kidding it's me Kelsey but I understand what she must have been going through when she spent $60,000 on a psychic. I can't stop buying tarot decks and books on the occult (most recently, feminist texts from the 80s and 90s) and I'm feeling like I did in 2020 when I was suddenly very obsessed with Robert Anton Wilson. It started with a shitty pirated PDF of Quantum Psychology and ended in a new physical copy plus High Weirdness by Erik Davis, The Act of Creation by Arthur Koestler, I Have America Surrounded: The Life of Timothy Leary by John Higgs, and several Philip K. Dick books. For whatever reason, this journey eventually led me to the box office bomb Southland Tales (2006) and I went as far as purchasing the rare/OOP accompanying graphic novel as well as a copy of another film by the same director (that I'll never recommend to anyone): The Box (2009), which I could've sworn was at least nominated for a Razzie because Cameron Diaz loses her Virginian accent a few times…
