our standard morning meal consists of yogurt, coconut granola, amaranth, banana, and on special occasions black or blueberries. yes, some cereal grains. but what i wonder if i am missing that sugar-bomb childhood breakfast type cereals. i haven't had any for so so long. growing up, my personal favorite was cinnamon toast crunch or frosted flakes (zucaritas). i actually wasn't a fan of the crunch. i would let me little cinnamon toast squares or sugary flakes soak into a soggy mushy mess. honestly, it was less about the actual cereal, but the flavor it brought to the milk. i don't drink much milk. maybe sometimes in chocolate con leche, but i am more a chocolate con agua type guy. so the question remains, do i actually miss cereal? i think i do? at the very least, i am currently craving it. i will buy some on the next shopping trip. i am knowingly setting myself up for disappointment. but maybe the nostalgia will be worth the exorbitant price of boxed cereal these days, who knows? i…
