Remember when Tim Cook bragged back in 2010 that Apple’s superior product design was a result of laser-sharp focus on a smaller number of products, only enough to fit on one table? That makes today’s MacRumors headline a little laughable: …or alarming for those who care. Which is something I ain’t resembling much in recent years. So, what is it? Has Apple’s talent and resources grown so large in 16 years that they’re capable of superiorly (really, that’s a word?) designing enough products to fill Rhode Island? Or has Apple lost its taste for superior product design? Maybe one. Maybe the other. Maybe something entirely else. Just a little funny for old farts like me.
