Another first Sunday, another Comic Book Club. Via Given that the movie adapting it comes out later this month, the book in question was Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. It’s a book I have a lot of thoughts about, but it was a big group full of people who also have a lot of thoughts about it, and our time was limited, so while it was a good discussion, we barely scratched the surface. In addition to the discussion, I also picked up a few things. There was, of course, a button, and the discussion packet (which Lisa admitted was less complete than usual due to time constraints). Despite his presence on the button, we really didn’t get to talk about Comet much. Speaking of Lisa, she had a column in a recent issue of COMICS! The Magazine… …so I brought my copy with me to get it signed. There were also some free comics to be had. So all in all it was a fruitful afternoon.
