🚨 Warning. This is going to be a slightly more grumpy post from me than you usually get. I woke up slightly on the wrong side of the bed this morning and even a good gym session couldn’t get me out of a Mr Cranky Pants kinda mood. Whilst on the treadmill I checked my Masto feed and watched a bit of YouTube… Today this got me yelling at clouds. I had a concentrated flurry of influencer nonsense and AI Bro garbage. I’m only on Mastodon nowadays, and I mostly follow normal 1 people but do follow a few famous/influencer type people to keep up on tech news, hobbies like tech, games, photography etc. I got annoyed at the sheer volume of absolute tripe and grifting that is out there at the moment. Especially now AI is embedded in every part of tech culture. Binary Digit’s recent post reflects my feelings greatly. Scrolling through I saw content such as 2 “Ad sales aren’t doing it so I’m launching a Patreon3 for my mediocre tech content so I can make videos about making my AI Agents do…
