Spring studio report

Hi folks,We are deep into spring, edging on summer and I have a nest of baby birds on the light on my back porch! The robin parents feed their monstrous little offspring every four minutes or so, all day. It must be so tiring being a robin! But also, sometimes a repetitive, straightforward job can be rewarding. Get the worm, feed to baby birds. Repeat.I skipped writing to you for awhile because I didn't know what to say. I had a very challenging April both personally and professionally. In my experience, posting publicly online when I'm feeling down isn't usually all that helpful. In the realm of work, I was rejected for several opportunities and I had the hardest freelancing experience I've had in fourteen years as a designer. I know there is a big push for authenticity in online spaces, but I also think it's okay to hold things back.
