This is part of my Song Snapshots "series", which I explain better in this post It's a core memory of mine, how I was first introduced to Gorillaz. It's one of my favorite bands now, and if I'm not mistaken my first impression was when I was 8 or 9 years old. Me and my family were on vacation, sort of a countryside trip. Me and my cousins were just talking and chilling to some background music, and one of my cousins who had the notebook (which was playing the music) put on the Clint Eastwood clip and showed it to me. They all knew Gorillaz for some time already, but I was really young (I'm the youngest in my family), didn't even know any english back then. It was kind of love at first sight. Even though I didn't understand any of the lyrics the vibes were totally there.
