The impetus for this trip was because of an off-handed comment I made to my friend Kurt. I said that I’d sure like to see Paul Simon someday, but that I knew he was getting older, too. I figured that it likely would not happen. Well, Kurt offered to take me to see him. In Copenhagen, Denmark. I just had to get there. So I went. This is the final post of the trip. It was a lovely 9 days in Scandinavia and hopefully not my last trip there. Taking the “bridge” & tunnel from Malmo to Copenhagen. Some good old “leading lines,” as my high-school photography teacher would have said. I always find it strange to drive under the water. After we arrived we walked and came to a cemetery that held two famous graves: Soren Kierkegaard and Hans Christian Anderson. It was a beautiful cemetery on a lovely spring day. One of the canals as the sun was setting in Copenhagen. The outdoor dining there was wonderful. Though you can’t quite see it, the chairs often had a fleece blanket draped over the back…
