The Need for Speed Challenge > a half-assed review -- Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (2000)

… yeah. So, this happened. When we were starting to git gud at NFS4, the follow up dropped. AND IT’S FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH PORSCHES! And I don’t mean a third, or half. ALL of them are Porsches. And while I remember that some people were annoyed by this fact at some point, I think it made this release the most iconic game of the series so far, if not of all time. And it probably had the most names of all time, Porsche, Porsche Unleashed, Porsche 2000, we just called it Need For Speed Five. Career mode, awesome tracks to pick from, including the iconic german Autobahn where you could max out your 911 from any generation or your 1978 935/78 “Moby Dick”. Of course the game versions we used to play were pirated, so there was no soundtrack with them (they made the rips smaller and easier to pack on CDs with other games).
