cheese 🧀

when i was a teen, i earned the nickname %%orange%%cheese%% due to a sleep-eating incident. for full context, i was %%green%%vegan%% at the time and %%yellow%%hadn't eaten cheese in years%%. one night, after a punk show and after drinking some forties in the parking lot we ended up at a friends house. all my pals started on a movie, and i, as usual, quickly passed out. come 2 am, i wake up upside down in a sleeping back with a pasty cheese-encrusted mouth and a clear cheese wrapper in my hands. apparently, in my sleep, i walked over to and opened the fridge and grabbed a large block of cheddar cheese took it to my sleeping bag, and started going to town on it. from then on, it was %%orange%%cheese 🧀%%. not an original nickname, as another friend was also called cheese. but i couldn't escape the nickname for years. it was fitting though. i ended my veganism that night, and i still eat yummy cheese to this day. the cheese that i dream about most often is jean grogne triple cream brie.…
