Met up with some folks for the latest Comic Book Club to discuss a comic I picked up recently. Via Comic Book Couples Counseling The haul for the meetup – beyond having some discussion – was the usual button and list of discussion questions… …but also a couple of free comics to round out a weekend of free comics that were brought by some of the Comic Club participants. Thus, a Haul post. I had actually been thinking about writing a Short Box post about the comic we discussed, but honestly, I no longer see the point, as I got my thoughts on it (it’s good) out, and shared them with a much larger audience than any post of mine is likely to have… Born and raised in the sparsely populated Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Jon Maki developed an enduring love for comics at an early age.
