There was a cold breeze early on this Free Comic Book Day as I stood in line waiting for the shop to open, holding my raffle ticket and hoping that my winning streak would not come to an end, but fearing that it would as number after non-matching number was called out. However, victory suddenly appeared in the form of something that I didn’t actually want for itself but rather for what it represents (winning). Funko POP! Iron Spider With that out of the way, it was on to looking over the selection of Free Comic Book Day – and the inaugural, concurrent Comics Giveaway Day – comics on offer. I think this is the first time I didn’t grab anything from DC or Marvel.
