I have been building apps with Claude for several weeks now. In that time I have been able to ‘develop’ five super capable apps. All in HTML/Javascript (so open in any web browser). The first was my biggest pain point, a finance app. It took the longest but also taught me the most. I’ve since created a Markdown table generator, Meal Planner and Contacts app and another app that I’m not going to disclose but is for my mental sanity. All tailored for me, by me. I honestly feel like a kid in a candy store just building utilities the way my brain is wired. The only reason for not building more is tokens and time. For the time being I have concentrated on ensuring that I take care of my private life first before I turn to enhancing and taking control of my professional life.
