A simple trick I picked up from the Runna app: If you want to increase your cadence, drive your arms faster. You don’t even have to think about your legs, because they will speed up automatically. Getting out of sync with your faster-moving arms is nearly impossible. I tried this on a recent tempo run and it felt way easier to reach my target cadence.
