Well, I don’t go around telling everyone about it right off the bat, but if someone asks me what I do, my blog—or rather, my blogs—is part of the answer. For me, writing is an outlet, a hobby that lets me express my creative side and bring a smile to someone’s face. Have I always told people about it? No, my husband has always known and is familiar with my blogs, but other than that, only people online knew about it—I can’t say exactly why that was. Maybe this was supposed to be my safe space, maybe I wanted to hide, or maybe I just didn’t think it was worth mentioning. Today, I see things differently! I’m proud of what I do; I still have my safe space, it’s just that now there are people close to me or whom I know personally who know about it too. If I’m already so open online, then I might as well be that way in face-to-face…
