Feeling v contemplative this evening. Trying not to let the feelings take over, and recognizing the ebb and flow of creative eras. I bought three records this week. Snocaps by Snowcaps, Creature of Habit by Courtney Barnett, and Greatest Hits by The Cure. Snocaps and Creature of Habit have been on repeat since the weekend. Both records have amazing inserts. This is important! I love Katie. And I adore MJ Lenderman. I mean, he's got a Dinosaur Jr tee on. Plus, he plays 12 strings on this album! So talented. Prettty. Weekly findings All the tomatoes from Metro look beautiful, esp the heirlooms, but they taste like nothing. Mealy. Void of flavour. Perhaps I should try growing some on my balcony this year.
