my name is kevin, %%green%%but i prefer km%%. i was born in canada, but have called mexico home for well over a decade. i was a geography and literature teacher for many many years, but have since moved into the solar energy industry, carrying forward my teaching and geography knowledge into a new, exciting space. %%purple%%i was born in the 80's%% on the cusp on millenialhood, but consider myself more a part of the nintendo generation or a soft gen x'er. i come from a working-class family, with british, roma, and indigenous roots. though, i can't/don't consider myself any of those things, but feel their influences in my life every day. i enjoy %%green%%gardening%%, writing poetry, collage-making, printmaking, letterpress printing, bookbinding, zine-making, photography, playing music (i have played/sang in punk, trubači, and folk bands/groups: jarana, banjo, ukulele, accordion, trombone, etc.), cooking, fermentation, brewing beer, watching baseball (lmb), reading, and watching really…
