Last week I had my first D&D session, and yesterday I had my second one. Two completely different worlds. I always consumed a lot of content related to RPG, played a bunch of RPG games and games that really simulate a D&D table well like baldur's gate and divinity original sin, I watched Vox Machina and Mighty Nein, so I've always appreciated the RPG world but had never actually played D&D myself. I think that's only because the opportunity didn't appear before and I didn't have the urge to search one myself. This year I really wanted to try D&D for the first time, especially after watching Mighy Nein, I was crazy for a session. My friend found one and invited me, but unfortunately it didn't go so well. It wasn't bad, I would say it was ok, but something really bothered me for the entirety of it and my second session just made me sure what it was.
