I’ve never played any Zelda title before and I was very happy to get this discounted on a Black Friday sale. I knew that it was an open world adventure with some RPG elements, but that was it. The world is beautiful, the music is beautiful. The mood of the thing is absolutely lovely. And then you get into crafting. You need to painstakingly take items from the environment, join them, turn them around, rearrange them, glue them and position them into the world in a task that is tedious as fuck. It’s frustrating and the Nintendo joy-cons don’t really help the control. I’ll try to play some more when I have some time, because the world…
