routine and place

a quick geography of routine everywhere where there is interaction between a place, a time and an expenditure of energy, there is rhythm. %%purple%%henri lefebvre%%, %%green%%rhythmanalysis: space, time and everyday life%% %%blue%%i've moved more times than i've fingers to count%%. between provinces, countries, states, cities and towns. i've lived both urban and rural lives. i recently moved, again, and this has gotten me thinking about routine and its connection to space. %%green%%i'm highly adaptable%%. i was born in the prairies at the base of the rocky mountains, and it is a place where you need to adapt and respond quickly to the weather. i learned to adapt to my environment as a child. since, i have lived near oceans, in deserts, in fog forests, and now, again, in a dry valley at the base of the sierra madre mountains. %%purple%%each place i've lived has had its own rhythm, its own routines, and here is no exception%%. i have lived in the city near here before, but the rhythm…
