I've written here about the time I lived in the USSR. I haven't written much about our previous stay when we lived in Belgrade, Yugoslavia from 1972-1974.

I had the pleasure of attending a concert featuring two of the best late 80s / early 90s Canadian bands - Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts, and The Northern Pikes.

I recently purchased an envelope from an online auction site that featured a couple of Newfoundland stamps and a cancellation from the Bonavista railway post office.

On June 19th I was in the Carberry-Brandon area of Manitoba and had a free evening. Little did I know how many rainbows I'd encounter!
