This week started with celebrating my partners Birthday! I'd booked in a nice restaurant for dinner together in Barangaroo that she had been to with friends in the past, but I'd never tried. The food & drinks were really yummy and we both really enjoyed it! I think if I went back I'd probably try the sushi since I saw some people order that around us, and it all looked SOOOOO good. The rest of the work week was really chill - not too much happened! I did have a day or two at work where I was…
Last week was actually really nice - I ended up having lots of hard conversations, but I'm extremely glad they were had. It kind of lead to a bit of a cheat week, with my partner and I eating out 3 times this week... which is NOT the norm. We had yummy Vietnamese1 on Monday, Yummy Indian2 on Thursday, and then yummy Portugese3 on Sunday. The week had been loaded for us quite a bit, but we still sorta stayed within our budget :3c With work & life being a bit stressful we actually went to a…
Monday, the 22nd of June 2026 marks 2 years since I started HRT. Like most would say, I wish I started sooner. But everything happens when it needs to happen. It's kind of crazy how quickly those two years have passed. In that time I've got a new job, a new name, and a new appreciation for life. I'm really not to sure what I want this blog post to be, but I really cant overstate how positive of a change it has been for both my physical and mental health. It hasn't solved every single one of my…
Actually another slow week! My partner and I have picked up running again, and hopefully are making it a recurring thing again. I did 3km @ 6:55 pace - I'm soooo washed, but it did feel good to get out of the house and get moving again. My shoulders and calves are all fucked up, but otherwise it felt great! Nothing a few stretches can't fix! Otherwise, super low-key. I bought a puzzle and started working on it with my partner, and we played our first game of MTG together. Both are super low…
Another week that I expected to be kinda slow but ended up being really fun! The week started with the public holiday I talked about last week - but a few days after my partner and I went out on our weekly "Date Night" where we go out for drinks and dinner after work. Usually it's low-key, but we decided to shake things up a bit and try new things! We ended up going for dinner at an irish pub - we both had a pint and shared a spice bag1. It was super yummy but oomf from ireland told us it…
I'm off work this Monday! It's a long weekend so it means I've just been chilling and relaxing :3c This week has actually been really fun. My partner and I went on a super cute date night walk on Wednesday along the harbour in the city. Vivid is running, it's basically a Sydney council run event to boost tourism during the off season (winter, cold, rainy, etc). I've never actually gone, but we decided to go and check out all the installations and stuff and get a cute dinner. It was really fun…
I had another slow and not really eventful week - but it was really chill! I did a few minor tweaks to my sites design, I set up a receipt printer on my desk for friends to remotely print from, played a south game of Mahjong1, ate pepper chicken nuggets, and just kinda ... vibed! But this next bit needs a bit of preamble: I planned to mention it in my Europe blog post2, but while we were in Amsterdam my partner and I had a really good experience smoking weed. It was super simple to buy, the guy…
I was sick yesterday!1 So this post is again, 1 day late. But I had a pretty chill and fun week! As the title suggests I baked bread during the week~ It was my first time really ever baking so even though I kind of fucked it up, it was still really yummy and lots of fun to do. I defs want to give it another shot and not make as many mistakes,,, even though the recipe only had 4 ingredients, and like 3 steps.... Along with the baking I also cooked french onion soup for 8 people! Because we don't…
It's been another week! It's kind of spooky how quickly time has been passing - and writing these blog posts really makes me realise how much time is passing and how quickly it's all moving. This week was relatively uneventful though! Although - the gap in me giving updates about my fitness has got me a bit worried about how I haven't gone running or really done any exercise in nearly a month... I still do basic movement stuff assigned by my physio but nothing too big,,, I've gained almost 5kg…
Another week! Again, not super crazy or interesting - taking it easy and working like usual! I ended up getting a few things this week, notably my new shoes! I think they look really good with a lot of my outfits which is nice! Very cozymaxxing-core~. But they also look good with a lot of my work outfits! They're not comfortable, they're literally platform high-heeled boots. But they look fire, so its worth it1. My partner and I also picked up Tomodachi Life for the switch this week. It's been…
It's funny - now that I'm back to doing normal things my posts are still a day late lol. I guess I just got caught up in being properly back at work that I forgot to make my usual blog post! The week back after our holiday was really chill, getting back into Sydney we had our friend who was house sitting pick us up from the Airport & drive us home. Not before stopping to pick up some yummy slop for dinner1 lol. When we got back home it was funny seeing Cammy (our cat) freak out over us being…
I'm currently flying home after my 2-week Europe trip meeting heaps of awesome people. Like I mentioned in last weeks post, ideally I plan to write a dedicated "Europe Trip" post alongside these weekly updates, but last week we did 4 nights in Paris and 4 nights in London! I didn't know what to expect out of Paris, and I kinda thought I'd not fuck with London - but in reality, both my partner and I really fucked with London, and kinda really didn't enjoy Paris (Other than hanging out with a…
Turns out it's really difficult to stick to a blogging cadence when you're travelling. My partner and I are actually in Paris right now, but we spent the last week with friends in Amsterdam! We spent the week in a BnB in Heiloo - an actual BnB. The hosts also lived in the house still, but the floorplan had been changed so we had a private kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms. They cooked us some yummy treats during our week there, and they were very friendly! The day we landed we met with everyone at…
