The message above is an email from the bank, requesting justification. So now I have to proon the transfer, the reason for it. This is an account we have paid into before, the recipients are our accountants, who the bank knows.

Every Monday morning, I compile a list of updates from my people for my skip-boss. These are the usual updates of what happened, and the blockers. My skipboss then uses them to report at the executive meeting later in the day. I read over the notes my people write, mostly with AI, and pull out the interesting things. This week my skip-boss is away but told me he will use AI to “report” at the meeting, whatever that means.

I wrote that post yesterday & then took a bunch of time to troubleshoot why it didn’t post. A few problems, so this note is a test to see if it is all fixed.

I’m at the beach, two teenagers behind me on their phones. It has been hours now. This hotel has many pools, a water park, a beach with sand, and yet whatever they are doing on their phones is more engaging. Our attention span is hijacked.

I had two meetings today that confirmed my feeling that no one is watching. Most people are focused on themselves, most people are worried about their own thing. So, just do the thing, stop worring so much about what others are thinking. You spend too much time thinking about them anyway. They aren’t worth the time or energy. Just do the thing, because nobody is watching.
