About nine months ago I wrote a post about my top five pages/posts on this site. I was looking over my blog stats again tonight and thought it was worth a revisit. One thing I have noticed is that because I added more than one hundred recipes to the blog last year I am getting much more residual traffic. The daily blog posts usually stay active for a week or two, but search engines are sending people to the site for recipes I posted over a year ago. The top five are all now recipe pages and not blog posts. I’ll try not to take that personally. Betty Crocker’s Egg Salad Filling – The egg salad mystery continues. This simple recipe has twice as many hits as any other post or page on the site. It does taste good, but I still don’t get it. Feijoada Na Instant Pot – I don’t know if it is the popularity of the Instant Pot or of Brazil’s national dish that drives traffic to this recipe, but it wins second place by a lot.
