The episode starts with Captain Picard visiting Lt. Worf's quarters. Worf, practicing Klingon martial arts with his bat'leth.The two discuss events that happened in previous episodes; the dishonor that had befell Worf's family and his ensuing discommendation. Worf's family, the House of Mogh, had been framed as Romulan collaborators by (spoiler alert) the Duras sisters Lursa and B'Etor. And (another spoiler) they are the real Romulan collaborators.First, can we talk about how rare it was in the 90's for a show in first-run syndication to have stories that call back to events from previous episodes? That's pretty neat to see. As a child I never really noticed this, at least not in TNG.
