I work remotely and live in Chengdu, so I end up café and bakery hopping quite a bit. These are some places I go sometimes apart from the usual chains -- some are small local neighborhood coffee shops, some are more specialty or slightly fancier cafés, and a few aren’t even cafés in the strict sense, just comfortable places where you can sit with your laptop for hours.
