This WonderSwan exclusive asks me to take control of an adorably harried love ninja, here to help ordinary humans, aliens, the denizens of hell, and more unlock their romantic potential via the medium of walking hearts with cute eyes and flappy wings. As concepts go it’s certainly a memorable one, and I am immediately overcome with the urge to do everything I possibly can to help my sweet ‘n’ stealthy little cupid fulfil their goal. As with all good puzzle games, the basic rules are quite simple: To clear a stage I have to get a set number of flashing hearts from one side of the screen to the other, and try not to drop six of them along the way. That’s it, done. But, as is also the case with all good puzzle games, making that happen is never quite as easy as it sounds. Gaps in their predetermined path are the main issue here, literally breaking any hearts that fall into them.
