This week note sorta covers the last two weeks. A tad longer! The word that sums up this week is: paint. We paid a friend to come and paint our hall/stairs/landing plus a kid’s room and the living room. The setup, decisions, marking out, and putting back have dominated quite a bit of this week. It was pretty disruptive (to be expected) which dredged up low level trauma feelings from the house extension; thankfully, short lasting. In the end, it is great to feel we’ve finally caught up on the decorating, despite a few things still outstanding. And the colours look great. A top moment for me was lying on the couch with my son, watching the clouds and listening to music. Something I’m looking forward to next week is taking two days off to do a few things for myself.
