Over the Winter I had the usual run of colds, shivers, and flu-like symptoms. Sharing a house with two people in the service industry and a 2 year old will open up your vectors of attack. But as the months went by, post-recovery, something remained. A cough. A dry, persistent cough. Getting worse And then I started to notice it sometimes got worse after. Bad enough that I was dry retching and felt exhausted. Not often, but when it happened it knocked my six. In April I went to Dr about it. We chatted and I told her about it getting bad after eating. The foods? Hard to remember. Queso, a milky coffee drink, loaded baked potato soup. Other things I'd eaten those days? Couldn't tell you. I realise correlation does not equal causation but maybe a late onset food allergy? Silent acid reflux is a thing too.
