I started asking myself why I was using my phone if I unlocked it. If I didn't have an immediate answer I just put it away and moved on. Used to spend way too many hours on social media until I made this change and I think it's one of the best things I could've done for myself. This was down from 3.5 hours a year ago, and probably around 5 a couple years before that. Another good thing was intentionally skipping a habit/task when I know I'm concerned about keeping up the streak for no other reason than perfectionism (e.g. no posts here in April).
