fuck the word "accomodation"

this term reeks of ableism, it sounds like being allowed to exist among abled people is a privilege we are responsible for requesting, one that can be denied without any repercussions. because that's what it is, and most instances of what people call accomodations can barely count as such from minimal effort with no actual investigation into what's needed, what's useful. i shouldn't risk an UTI from not being able to reach a toilet i can use for entire days i shouldn't risk being sick or...
