Back in March, I went on a trip to London in what I would describe as perhaps a “once-in-a-lifetime” trip. It was primarily a work trip, but I did have a good amount of time to myself which I tried to make the most of, pushing myself to the point of exhaustion and needing a couple of weeks to recover from the holiday and the horrific jet-lag (being 11-hours offset for two weeks is hardly kind). Nevertheless, it’s been a while now and I thought it was about time I started posting about my week in London. While others collect souvenirs – I mainly collect data in the form of digital photographs and other recordings (aside from bits of paper). This all takes some time to process, but I was hoping to get a head-start on the whole process by drafting blogs while I was still on the plane. I didn’t get too far with it, so while some of this post was authored “in-the-air”, most of it was done from land.
