Sunday Asides #95 So over the past 7 months of turmoil in this country, the U.S. government has been shooting a reality show from the Department of Transportation, and the trailer for it dropped this week. Tone deaf and fucking GROSS. I’m attempting to watch more TV these days. I just finished The Comeback. I’m enrapt with Half Man. I’m slogging my way through The Audacity because I would totally fuck Billy Magnussen. (Hey, some eye candy on a bad show can be a good thing.) But as far as season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars...I’ll get to it eventually I guess. Hell, I might skip it altogether since they brought back that weirdly uneven bracket system again. Speaking of TV, what’s happening with Beyond the Gates? The current stories are dragging, the focus of the largest and most prominent stories are slowly shifting to the few white characters on the cast, and the fan base has been very vocal against these changes.
