I had a gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket when I saw the Camp Snap Pro behind glass in the shop. I walked away to mull it over. In fact, I walked back to the office, perhaps trying to fool myself that I’d not use my voucher on another toy camera. Of course, I always knew I was going to buy it. I like the original Camp Snap because it’s such a fun way to escape the technicalities of photography and focus on the moment. There are no settings to deal with, unless you count the decision to turn the flash on or off. There’s no screen to review photos. It’s light, all-plastic, and fits snugly in just about any pocket. What’s not to like? OK, the image quality isn’t exactly stellar, but that’s not the point of a camera like this. So, it was inevitable I’d be interested in the upgraded version ~ the Camp Snap Pro. It’s slightly bigger and has the look of an old rangefinder camera. I do miss the old colourway options, but it’s not a big deal. The flash has been upgraded to a much more…
