As the gang here in beautiful upstate New York (the Hudson Valley) wishes we could take a Star Trek teleportation device - used or new - directly to Niles, CA to enjoy the excellent annual Charlie Chaplin Days event presented by our pals at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum we doff our Max Linder top hat to yet another lesser known but marvelous silent movie comedian Poodles Hanneford (1891-1967). We'll start with the following presentation.Poodles, king of the bareback riders, was a circus stalwart who entertained audiences for five decades, did somersaults thought to be impossible and worked with slapstick king Roscoe Arbuckle:
