This summer will be the start of progress and towards the unknown of independence. Something I’ve been setting up for since last year. This summer will see many of the last of the goals needed for independence achieved. Not every goal, but enough to look for non-supported housing. Not giving details as that’s too personal, but within 12 months of independence, I want to leave the benefits system (at least until retirement as pensions are a benefit). Leaving society at 35 years old.
