SummaryGrizzly Man (2005), directed and narrated by Werner Herzog, is a documentary that focuses on the lifework of Timothy Treadwell. Treadwell was an animal activist who became obsessed with living with wild grizzly bears in Alaska during the summer seasons, and did so for 13 years. He filmed over 100 hours of footage by 2003, until he, along with his girlfriend Amie Huguenard, were killed and partially eaten by a bear. Title screen.
