2026-05-09Hello!This fancy steakhouse had outdoor seating, with decorative flowers and a US flag. I know that neighborhoods such as Little Italy exist, but I wonder what a Little America would look like — immigrants from the US migrating to another country and settling in a neighborhood.As a country, the US is pretty diverse. I don't know if our food means much (most of it has been imported from other cultures) but we would have really wide roads and gyms for people to drive to and lift weights.We would also have a hockey rink or sports stadium, and watch ourselves get beaten by Canada.Anyway. Walking by this restaurant, I had a few thoughts like this. I then passed the train station, which had been out for maintenance for a while.Finally, bizarre products for bizarre people. Despite technically being part of Gen Z, there's no way I'd be interested in some California startup(?), and I can't imagine who would. Thank you for visiting this blog!
