I wrote a thing and I was going to post it here, but it started to feel self-centred, and like it might come off like I was trying to elicit sympathy. Saying nothing feels wrong, but saying something doesn't feel right either.So I will just say that my mother-in-law died on Friday night, following a nearly two year battle with lung cancer, having never smoked. Life can be so unnecessarily cruel.
