Miles: 16 No connection at this tent site and it’s so cold it’s hard to type. Will post this tomorrow. I’ll keep it shorter because I barely can move fingers. Or actually I will warm up first. 10 minutes later and I still can barely type. I’m just keeping them in my sleeping bag and I’m activating a hand warmer. When I’m in town I’m going to need to buy a new mini Swiss Army knife and spork I lost them both. Been using a stick for a spoon/fork. Modelo has been so funny lately. Every morning we camp he walks around to all the peoples tents who sleep in and wakes us up by acting like a bear or shaking them. He decided today that he’s going to trail days with us tomorrow (in our rental car? Hopefully). Huge mountain climb today. There was ruins of an abandoned hotel at the top that used to have a train as the only way there. An old extravagant escape for those who could afford it. Must have been really nice.
