hey, i haven't been on here much. i thought i posted more in april, but no. i checked my guestbook by chance and saw words by an anonymous person who thought it'd mean something to tell me i'm a mess. i'm leaving it up, even after filtering out what looked like unmoderated spam. so, this is gonna be a means to set some boundaries. folks across online spaces sometimes forget that going to someone's public profile, blog, etc. is like stepping into their house. sometimes you're invited and sometimes you're not. sometimes people welcome debates or like-minds. the viewer has a choice on participating or moving on. but no, i'm not taking any ragebait or encouraging everyone to agree with me here. taking the bait would probably be more a charged reply of overexplaining myself in a thesis as to ~why i am not a mess, actually.~ thinking everyone will be in favor of my posts, supplemented with engagement in toasts and praise, is also a pitfall i'm not interested in.
