When you set up a new device (whether it's a phone or a laptop), I highly recommend first turning off every notification, feature, and toggle before continuing with the setup. If you start with all of the features off, you will have a much better understanding of what the features do when you turn them on and, as a bonus, you will by default be setting up a less noisy and distracting profile on the device which will lend greatly to your sanity and distractibility later. Give it a shot! you really, really don't need those notifications.
