The last couple of weeks were exhausting. Work has turned into an even crazier parallel ecosystem. There is a larger than usual thing we support, and while it brought more work for us with it, it's not as taxing as usual, but has a lot of administrative hurdles we need to jump over several times a day. And as if the hurdles wee see aren't enough, there are changes of security zones and the permits needed to enter them. It happened a few times, that the floor coordination person had no idea about that either—in one case, even the coordinator was, in theory, banned from his floor—, blowing up the time-slot to replace a lamp to almost double the allotted amount, which sends ripples down the whole timetable. As if that is not enough to make people tense, a colleague forgot he was on duty, and came in a few hours late, causing one of the loudest auditive phenomenon in human history, as hundreds of people ripped their schedule sheets to pieces—some bricks in the chinese wall were rattled…
