The teaching aspect of the academic year has come to an end for me. Now all that remains is meetings, interviews, planning, and preparation for next year. This was my 19th year teaching. (In a previous post I said it was already my 20th, but as it turns out, I cannot count.) You know what I want to say. Even if you haven’t read this blog or give a damn about education, you can guess that I want to say based on my profession. Things are dire in the world of education. Not only are the students enamoured by LLMs, but a majority of my colleagues have become walking advertisements touting their use.
