Detour of Doom

Miles: 13 P.U.D.s - Pointless Up and Downs. A large section of the trail was deemed uncrossable by the forest services so today was literally one massive detour. Most of it was walking on dirt roads, some paved roads, and two extremely steep stair ascents and descents. The stairs were the PUDs. After only 8 miles (the length of the detour) we were all so wiped that we took a 3 hour break. We got a good deal on a rental car to take to Damascus for Trail Days. Zero did her magic again. Also a word that our group started using is gaining a lot of traction amongst the trail community but it might be too offensive to put on here sadly but if you want to know what it is you can ask me about it not on the blog lol. It’s pretty funny especially that it’s catching on with other people. I guess this is another iykyk thing.
