This is a call to join the topic-of-the-month for the Swift Blog Carnival! This month, we focus on the already-on-your-mind discussion about the limits you ran into with SwiftUI. The topic really started circulating earlier this month with Paulo Andrade’s fantastic Using SwiftUI to Build a Mac-assed App in 2026 post, which prompted many interesting discussions around the Apple Dev Sphere, and I’d love to read some longer ruminations on people’s experience with it, after exactly a year where many people maintaining long-term projects had to make a big choice about how much they want to stick to Apple’s lead with UI look and feel. I wanna read more about where you found SwiftUI falling short when you didn’t expect, where you already learned from others not to expect much from it, how it made you feel, whether you wished it was possible, or whether you just knew not to touch the stuff. What do you LOVE about SwiftUI? What boggles your mind about it? Is it the way you started writing apps…
