Happy Friday! Today is National Coconut Cream Pie Day (not my favorite but I wouldn’t turn down a slice) and National Student Nurse Day (in this house, we love healthcare providers). It’s also the Friday before Mother’s Day and it’s still difficult for me. It’s the weekend when that terrible little voice starts repeating: “You don’t have anyone to take you to the Phillies games, or to the shore, or out to dinner. Nobody will drive you around when you’re older. The only thing you’ll leave behind are belongings.” It’s dark, but that’s life. Monday will be here soon enough.
