PondKodak EasyShare C6132026 Now that the weather is improving, I try to get out for a walk every day. The options near my home are extremely unexciting, so I usually bring a camera to keep my brain engaged. I hadn’t shot my Kodak EasyShare C613 in a long time so I put a couple AAs into it and brought it along one day. On this day I discovered that the C613’s date function extended only to Dec. 31, 2025. This is a real challenge with old digital cameras. On the one hand, it’s not the end of the world. On the other, it might make someone think later that photos from an old digital are older than they really are. This shows up on Flickr in particular, as it reads the EXIF to show the date the image was made. I brought all of these images into an EXIF program on my computer and set the date properly before uploading them. Despite this, the C613 still crushes it.
