#80 - Weeknote From Dublin

UpdatesA milestone week for me, as after nearly forty years of employment, I have now set out as self-employed for the first time. On Monday I opened the calendar for my new coaching business - named unsurprisingly: Matt Rutherford Coaching. I'll be delivering one-to-one coaching for anyone who is taking or planning the next step of their career and would like a sounding board. I am both nervous and excited simultaneously. Starting out on my own is a new experience but I know from the coaching work I have done so far (pro bono and at work) that everyone needs someone in their corner, and I can be that person. Alongside launching the business, I've been writing and building. I know that a business doesn't get successful in a day or a week and I have plans to stay busy with other projects simultaneously. Away from my projects, our quiz team continues to go well in this short season of 12 games, we're currently top of the division and on 10 straight wins. Everyone is playing well and…
