The World The US had their midterms last Tuesday, and as expected it was a blowout in favor of the Democrats, though I think everything went far better than anyone thought. I was kind of looking forward to seeing if Trump would do anything dumb in response but he seemed kind of restrained about it, claiming he "wasn't on the ballot" and that's why they lost. The margins were so wide there was no way he could claim cheating! There is an air of cautious optimism among the USians I follow which is nice to see. But I have low expectations for the Dems and expect a high chance that they fuck things up. My Week Google Fit says I walked 64,698 steps from last Sunday to yesterday. It was a lazy Saturday! Attended quiz night last Thursday with the trivia team and WE CRUSHED IT! On the way to quiz night I saw that there was a Toy Kingdom warehouse sale at SM Megamall and went to check it out, thinking I could buy something for the pamangkins or maybe find some cheap Transformers.
